The US ban on Chinese telecommunications company Huawei came into effect on the 15th of this month. When the ban takes effect, if companies want to continue to supply Huawei, they must obtain US approval. However, Sino-US relations are tense, and the Huawei ban involves various US departments and agencies. The approval process is complicated.
